Well as the weather was great this weekend, finally manged to get off my fat arse & do some work.
Got a small oil leak, which is no bid deal, except it works it way onto the blower belt & gets slung every where !
So stripped the car down to fit new crank & Cam seals in the Jesel & this is where I thought it was coming from ? Well say thought, as seals looked OK. As it was stripped down, fitted new ones anyway & also new belt as the old one was pretty saturated in Oil.
Worse job was removing the damper followed by the even harder task of removing the bottom tooth pulley
Also removed the old Alternator & started to fit the new unit. As usual, replacement doesn't fit, even though it was for the same model car as the previous one

Also modifying alternator pulley, as not happy with the depth of belt, no big deal & most likely would of been OK, just being a bit cautious, after all the alternator belts I've been going through
While in the mood, thought would give the girl a pre season checkover

Valve lash was fine, couple of tweaks, but could of left alone really
