Yep, top man Anton, I was pulling your chain with the metric, nearly everyone knows I hate the stuff...when you've sorted out the inches, feet and yards, you can start on the rods poles and perches! ;)

Nearly finished mine, this is a great little design and no more than half an hours work for anyone with two hands, a drill and a rule. :thumbright:

*Edit* it'll take you an hour by the time you've fanny'ed around tring to cut the dowl! :D

Ok, it's not a thing of beauty, though. Your's is definitely the pro looking jobbie! This will be perfect for use tomorrow though, when the heads get a going over. :thumbright: There'll be an update on the car over the weekend. Managed to chop a chunk off the top of me thumb doing this, though. Note to self... Stop trying to catch falling saw's mid air!

Thank's for the plans, Mate. Got rid of some of my old loft board too.

theres nothing wrong with that Stu it will do the trick very nice and make life alot easier. Im fortunate enough to have been a carpenter and still work in the industry so i have access to alot of professional tools at work and a large supply of wood which makes it easier. Good luck with the motor and look forward to read all about it soon.

Now he tells me! I'd not have agreed to post the photo's if I'd known! :D Funny how it they look so big in the photo's. :? It's a nice compact little unit in the flesh.

Mind you, just having a beer with Gareth before tomorrow's building session and he say's it looks better in the photo's than it does in the flesh.

the text is my plan drawing in Autocad Printed on a large printer and glued to the wood and them all the holes are drilled and sanded. I have idea of one in mild steel that with your machines will be easy to create and then bend into shape if you want to go down that road.
