Well, the day finally arrived to paint the charger.
After the previous basecoat issues, Ivor popped round to lay down the basecoat with his wacky technique, so big thanks to Ivor. There is even a pic to prove it ws him !!!
Once that was completed, it was down to me to lay on the clear.
apart from a bit of dust on the upward facing surfaces, it cam out pretty good. the dust will mop out easy enough.

Another cracking pic Mr R, I can tell you the body is a whole lot straighter now, that car was a pleasure to paint, it was like painting a brand new Mopar shell that had ben prepped for the press...in other words, all the panels fit and all the shuts are spot on.
The colour is a fully pearlescent version of the original colour, tons of pearl in the mix in fact, hence the wacky technique required to avoid mottling and striping...it flashes from copper to gold in the sun.
Now let's all hound Roger to get it finished!
