Not sayin, except its big and body lines

That may also be harder to produce in tinted perpex than say a domed shape

Spoke to a local firm yesterday that make Motorcycle screens, they reckon they can do it. I need to take them some photos to get a price, fingers crossed...

I like it, not sure what the finish will be in Blue, unless I missed that bit. I had a play in PS with it in the upper body paint colour. Hope I got the proportions right.

Thanks Dave, yes that pretty much has the flavour of it if I have to do it in fibreglass.

Mo, I am trying to get it formed from a single piece with a flange around the bottom edge, it will then be bonded to the underside of the hood. The design has had to be tweaked somewhat due to the way it has to be made. Thanks Rob, I have a man making the buck to form it over as we speak, he has a contact in Weymouth that will form it from polycarbonate sheet. If it all goes wonkey bent, I'll have to come up with something else...

Well I think it's a great idea and with a few well place ventilation holes, you could tune the carbs with the hood on! ;)

I like it Blue.

Suits the "essence" of the car a treat in my humble opinion.

What's the tint going to be? Upper body colour or your headlight colour?

It'll be headlight colour if I can match it.

That's the spirit! :thumbright: :D

It'd be boring if they all looked the same. Besides, I like it just because it'll make people go " "

Well, not much progress to report due to ongoing building nightmare at home.
Mocked up the return spring and fuel log bracket, need to get 3 more hoses and then finish weld it all, you can see where I'm going with it. Scoop idea seems to be dead in the water, need to think of a plan B....

That's a neat solution Blue, what was the problem with the scoop?

Seems a simple glass fibre moulding job to me! ;)

Got the buck made, but then the firm reckoned the polycarbonate wouldn't form over it. Way too many sharp bends they said.
