I'm one of those old fogies that know some of the area registration codes...when I was a young herbert living in West London all my car reg's seemed to be MX or ML for Middlesex.

Scottish car ?

That isn't rusty ... :?

When I went to work in Wales in 1982, I couldn't believe how any old cars there were still around, whereas in Scotland, they would be piles of rust.

My sister bought a Metro in Glasgow and took it when she moved to Brighton. The MoT inspector could not believe how rusty it was and condemned it out of hand.
