Had me one of them a few years back. Cost me £500. Ran it for 2 years. Never spent a penny on it. Sold it for £350. Was a mess mind. I think it may have been more than one car (more like two or three) welded together. Loved to burn new BMs and Audis away from the lights, shouting "five hundred quid!" out the window. Bit of a pimpmobile. That's how I got my nickname, 'Gringo the Pimp'.

That isn't rusty ... :?

When I went to work in Wales in 1982, I couldn't believe how any old cars there were still around, whereas in Scotland, they would be piles of rust.

My sister bought a Metro in Glasgow and took it when she moved to Brighton. The MoT inspector could not believe how rusty it was and condemned it out of hand.
Too right Sandy,i run about in a 87 Granada, it's in good nick and all because it has spent its life in Herts

Nice car Paul. :thumbright:

Sandy, a Metro would rot if you left one in the Arizona Desert for a couple of weeks. :D
