It's in. And it went in with the headers in place, albeit loose bolts... :thumbright: ;)

Thanks mate. Got to get those convertor bolts shaved down a bit. Like you said, they do foul on the block. How did you get them to clear in yours?

Possibly had more clearance due to the different flex plate i'm using , might be easier if you source the shallow bolts?

Well done Gringo !
You have overtaken me on the engine fitment - although hopefully tonight welding should be done and then its onto putting things back in rather than cutting them out.

Really impressed that you got the engine and box in as one complete with headers. I got mine out engine first then box. You have me thinking now - I would prefer to do it your way round - as one unit. Really not sure the hoist is man enough for it though :-k What was the rating of the one you used ? Might have to just hire something for that.

Looks great though. Looks like you might make wheels day ( I am now aiming for Nats - too much to do :( )

Hey Morgan,

You'll have to ask Kiwi about the hoist. The headers did scrape a bit on the torsion bars as it went in, but nothing drastic. If I was to do everything, I wouldn't make any shows this year. This is a 'get it back on the road and have some fun'... :thumbright:
