MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

Was like this when I bought it.

and this is a good pic.
Been in desert and off the road since 1991
Was 318 green white hat, but had been GL'd, then all the GL bits nicked.
Roof jumped on, rear wheels nicked and dropped on rear quarters.
Interior eaten by the local wildlife.
Full of desert sand!!
Notice the grill on the passenger side where it had melted!! and the drivers door looked like it had been bent backwards in the wind.

If my memory serves me correctly, I saw this on the USA ebag being sold along with another car (or at least it was a USA website). The other car was a brown 1 I think, or was it green? (not the 1 in the background of this pic) Seem to remember that this one was the better of the 2 cars for sale.GeneralWee wrote:Was like this when I bought it.

Looking good now though Tim

Thanks people for all the kind comments!! Hope you got your bits jules!
The unrestored pic was taken at California Connection, in Ashbourne , who imported the car, then it went to Essex - I bought it off a chap down there - must send him a pic or two.
Getting through some of the teething troubles now, but what a scream we've had - definately a crowd pleaser.
Just have to go sideways round roundabouts and do No.11's at every set of lights.
Got the hooter fixed as well.
Drives really nice though, much better than I imagined - probably thanks to all new bushes etc. and decent brakes.
Here's a couple more pics I took in daylight.

I remember your old website/story Will.It was great.Spurred me on to finish mine.
Its when you fall out with the car, when you really struggle.
I have a car roller and I rolled the car to do the floors etc.
I boned them totally, then used POR 15 paint to finish them.I put the car in the shed for a few months , but when I bought it out, the paint had either flaked off or the floor pans had started to rust!!!!
By this time, I had fitted the engine and box etc.
So it took me about 6 months to get my head round getting under it again and sanding the floors back again, by hand, and that POR15 is rock hard (by the way, I think that POR15 is crap,Zinc primer and chassis black is better).
So keep going, thats the key.And if Duncan's reading this,I adjusted my Loka cable again, and kick down works now...yeah!!!! Very critical adjustment was needed - thanks for advice.
