Hey Dunc , it don't bother me if it's been written or not , i've been in the game too long to know what works & what don't , i ain't gonna put $$$$$$$$$$$$$ into a motor a risk it for a hose , maybe it's time someone did write about it. ;)

Always remember the ole man bypassing the heater when the matrix went tits up , be it the comma , thames , transit , sherpa or yank , tis all the same , this was 40 years ago. ;) , not scaremongering either Dunc , would'nt of mentioned it if i did'nt have too , fact is fact.

makes me think big block heater taps
or big block thermostats had holes in them originally or did not close totally......

i just don't understand...especially now i know that small blocks have a bypass hose as standard, odd inconsistency since cooling systems really have not change that much for 100+ years.

seems odd...best bet is to run bypass....if it flowed before and its not when you block off the heater safest option is not to cap off outlets.

i'll shut up

i wouldn't know a big block if one landed on me head :thumbright:
