Stuff it. I've ordered a set. £365 delivered. About £200 less than the BFGs.
I get bored with seeing BFGs on everything anyway. :D

Well here they are.

It is strange but they look much taller and thinner than the BFGs. But I have measured them three times now and they are only a quarter inch taller and thinner. It must be the tread design throwing the eye off or something.

Anyway. Being slightly thinner and taller works to my advantage. I will take that quarter inch more clearence thank you. :thumbright:

The sidewalls seem a bit stiffer on these new tyres too. The logo on the sidewall is subtle. Again that is more in keeping with what I want.

So now I just need some wheels to put them on.

You always get this difference when comparing new/old, the new have 8mm of tread and are "uncompressed" the old are worn and compressed and have dried out and "shrunk".

Happy sliding son ;)

Sexy pattern BTW ;) ......could be noisy :?

Can't see what that reason would be Steve. They look fine on the car. No-one came up to me at the Nats and said "nice car - shame about the tyres".

Very happy with those cheaper tyres I got. That £200 I saved paid for my fuel to the Nats and back.

Dave they look as good as the BFGs, but whats grip like compared ?

I bought Coopers  after my BFGs and they really have no grip

Make the car look mad at speed though when you floor it and overpower the tyres at 70+ MPH...but thats about it....hope the 4000's are better than the coopers thats all.

The spec was the same if not better than the BFGs. Slightly better wear life. I can't tell any difference. Cirtainly nothing like those crappy coopers.
