Bleeding Brakes

Post by Anonymous »

Fitted brake booster master cylinder to the charger.

I bled the brakes till just fluid comes out the bleaders.
Only thing is pedal stiil feels spongey, the brakes work when the pedal is pushed down, but havent tried stopping whilst driving as its up on stands at the mo.

All i can think of is either air in the system still or push rod to long.

will the air push pst the old fluid or will i need to get all the old stuff out the system to let the air out?

Craig did you fit a new master cylinder? If you did, did you bleed that first before you installed it?

Got to bench bleed it. You don't get full piston travel with the brake pedal.
