Unusual Chrysler wheels

Anyone seen these before? Possibly late from the 80s early 90s?

They are 4.5 inch bolt pattern and I don't think they would look too bad as a cheap option on the front of a gasser style car.

No, never seen those before. Can't say I find 'em very attactive, are they from a South American car?

They were on a guys '70 Challenger when he first bought it.

That's what I was thinking. Bit of a clean up and without that rusty drum brake behind it I don't think they would look bad at all. Maybe just grind off the sharp edges and re-polish them?

They are saying on my message board that they look like Dodge Mirada wheels.

Don't look like the Mirada one's I can find on Google

But is it me, or are they like the ones on this Aspen turbine concept?

Oooh! Good find. They do look like the ones on the turbine car.

They never produced the turbine car but maybe the wheels did go into production?

Don't know.

Can't imagine that many people would have thought the wheels were so cool, they should mass produce them.

I reckon they must have been pinched from something stock, but I can't find any on pictures of a stock Aspen.
