1965 A100............oh did I mention...........WHEELSTANDER

Post by Jon Connolly »

I`ve been keeping this one a bit quiet. Huge thanks to Dave Madders / Alex Doig / Tim Holmes / Graham Rutterford / WASP / Demon Tweeks for all their help.

Purchased in Oct 2007 in Canada and has been completely rebuilt and upgraded since then ( I will put full step by step build in workshop forum ).

440 + 727 + Halibrand vee drive secondary gearbox.
Chassis and body shortened by 15" ( cut and shut ).
Triple circuit braking system with 3 master cylinders - 1 x front, 2 x rear.
1 3/4" tube safety cage.
Kirkey seat and 5 point harness.
Central fire extinguiser system, video camera, steering damper.
Custom alluminium radiator + trans cooler with ducted air intakes.
Air assisted shocks for wheelie bar.
Inbuilt ballast compartments.

I`m now at the stage of carrying out final testing including wheelie bar length / height. Left to right and front to back ballast adjustments

Will be out at Euronats 09
