That's good coz only the windscreen matched between this and the 2 door. Don't break that glass or you are stuffed.

I have contacted Chevron ....

It is a really good magazine. Luckily, I have every one, and subscription renewed again.

Looking forward to something on the Superbirds, the XC GXL's and the XC Allan Moffat Specials. I know the AMS story has been in the pipeline for a while as I contributed some photos.

I am still waiting for some stuff on the HQ Monaro's. I know the Yanks blew it big time suspension wise on the cars, but a good in depth story about the development, including the GTS350's and SS 350's would be good, plus, where the Holden 308 V8 came from.

The CH hardtop thing ( as above) was a nice break from much-Fordiness of recent issues.

You rotter.....

i'll expect my cheque in the post....this will result in at least 1 more sub..I'm sure

mucho fordiness...but still told in the same manner that makes you interested regardless... i.e even the description of a drive to the shops would still sound like a battle to the death on the tracks of 1970s Oz

love the use of the term Mongrels as well......masters of understatement.
don't swear when it so very is strictly necessary.

ripper

Could well be this one on eBay. The current owner has had it for ten years now and it has never been on the road during that time which would tie in with the last duty date.

If someone wants the 400 he would split and I could take the CH. :thumbright:

i can't justify a purchase but i would risk my marriage if it was off to the scrappy.

lets hope the banger boys don't get it

is it a VH or a Chrysler

can't tell

anyway those wheels look rubbish.

can i have em?? :) :)

seriously though
if the wheels are ROH alloys and you get em polished/machined up again

you already have a £750 payback + a 400 engine and box

i'll give you a set of charger wheels to fill the space

even if they are wolfies you probably have £200 worth

yup the crate engine

1) looks like a crate
2) was taken out of its crate in 1972

and ive seen that car somewhere before....recognise the checkered engine bay I'm sure

Yes it would.

Although I am willing to bet this is one of the last solid 4 door CH's we are going to see available. Only 70 were sold in UK and most of them have been bangered or scrapped already.

And someone has already done the leg work and fitted a big block in there, it would have been a 360 out of the factory. It will have a VIN tag starting CH6P****

Not sure what is going on with the interior. Looks like a Charger dash pad and the guage panel is obviously a hash job. But lookie under the dash, factory air con. That unit would be mighty useful in my car!

Ive got the aircon diffuser front from a CbyC if you need it

doesn't fit my dash properly (had it for years and got round to trying to fit it.....no go well it would but would stick out like a big diffuser
