Amen to that brother :salute:

WHY  at least this guy can have some fun with his car rather than polishing it, or sat in a deckchair in some field talking rivets :P :P :P
Sorry Dunc, that wasnt a race car vs resto car comment, just that I 'dont get' creating a wing-car copy from a non wing-car b-body. They never look right for some reason - maybe cos they always want to introduce some custom touches that, to my eye, make them look even more odd than the originals

I'd much prefer a 70 RR or GTX than a 'bird clone - whether for racing or rivet counting...

I think the sublime superbird convertible looks like it's been made for a gay hairdresser. Not sure about the Charger but not into verts anyway

The Sox n Martin Superbird clone is way cool and so is the black superbird 8-) 8-)

At least the convertible bird owner is cruising in the sunshine in his Mopar, which is more than I'm doing at the moment

I think the black satellite looks bloody great.
8-)

As for making Wing cars from non wing cars...if you ever really wanted one and realised that they are now way outta your reach financially....then why not,
If they had done a cheap version at the factory, they may have done this to...IMO its fine and for mostl its virtually the same car
And that Sox Wing car looks fine especially with the cowl scoop its something the factory should have done, compliments the nose just right

You'd ask why alter the wheelbase on a 65 Hemi car ....or build a clone ;)
ALL KILLER NO FILLER
Nostalgia, its not what it used to be.

I just do not get it! I see nothing I like when I look at a wing car? Must be me, as you all seem to drool over them! Give me an early B body any time.

The thing about Wing cars is what they achieved on the track, not what Chrysler did to homogenate them by producing road replicas......On the road they are a "B" body with 300lbs more weight; but the aerodynamics DO work and they have that "wow" factor of a comic book car (like modern day supercars).
