Got it on my friend`s scales yesterday and was pleased. The cross weight came out at exactly 50 % which I was hoping to be close to as all the services run down the centre of the truck and each time I fitted something on the left I tried to conter balance it with something on the right.
The current rear bumper is filled with granite. If need be I will construct a new one from steel tube filled with lead.
Total weight of truck : 1731 kg
Rear weight bias : 67 %

Jon, I don't think the problem will be "getting it up"
; I think the challenge will be getting it back down in a controlled way.
More power to you
