Allkillers 63 Fury

Post by AllKiller »

Well Jungle Jems car has pushed me into action on the 63
its coming apart more and more, goin to see a guy locally about doing the wheel base work ....if not Tim, quite a bit further away said he would tackle it, he did the work on Patina Chargers car.
Its gonna be fits and starts money allowing

Anyway its gutted out now.....goin the Blue inspired route...its gonna be light, very light :thumbright:
But remain stock looking as i prefer them like that, panels will be mostly F/glass inc dash, and lexan windows.
it will keep its interior trim but no rear seat, for obvious reasons

The 2 door, doors i bought are goin to be glassed and then the steel ones sold on again...long way round, ho hum.
Anyway this is the begining :thumbright:

Cool, better stock up on hole saws then! If you get really creative you might get it down to 3000lb. look forward to seeing this one come together, shame it's not going to be street legal though.

Blue, i might try for that after its done up n running...but i have the Cuda,GN and My 65 Impala plus the truck for road duties...
wanted to keep it simple and be able to try stuff and not worry about road legality

Weightwise, it will be a challenge but im gonna go for it.
probably be needing your services/ advice/period styling detail at some point :thumbright:

Mark, gonna be getting quite a lot of glass parts during the build..if you want any for yours maybe we could split the cost on making em, on the same bits ??...was gonna go to Dale at DRE. Hood, boot, front fenders only...non stock arch location, bumpers, dash. :thumbright:
