Pinball used to run the same flex plate, as shown on your pallet. My mate owned Pinball for 2+ years & never had a problem.
I have also run & seen the same style flex plate in numerous Mopars, some pretty quick ones included in that.
I think what you have will be fine & you won't need to outlay money now. As & When, you get flush & looking for things to buy or the racing bug gets you, then you can upgrade.
Just my 2 cents as they say
P.S Solid Flex Plates are available from Summit or similar
you need to know if motor is Externally or Internally balanced, 6 Bolt or 8 Bolt Crank
Internally Balanced - 6 Bolt Crank - Check what you have

"I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."
Not much to report but here's a few shots of what's been bought since I last posted. The car is currently at the blasters so waiting to see how many buckets of rust come back. John says hopefully this week and if not then early next week.
The 2 doors and trunk lid have come back and need very little work

Thanks Mark and yes good to say hi.
Hope your leg is better.
I can't wait to see it all put together now. It's lucky we are doing it now and not a few years ago as you can get most of the panels now.
It would be nice for it to come back and not need anything else for it but there is a big big chance it will need the rear light panel and possibly a roof skin. We do still have one last shopping list but are waiting to see what condition it's in first. Next items we will be ordering will be side gutters for the trunk opening, door jamb pillar, (near side) and a rear cross member thingy. There is a chance I will buy a new hood too but not fully decided on that yet. Depends on what else we have to order.

Thanks Clivey. A show winner would be nice but in reality I can't afford it. John is doing the body work but then it's coming home. As I've maintained all along, this car will be driven on a daily basis so my first aim is to get it through an MoT. The rest of the stuff after that can be done as and when. I had to sell my BMW to fund this car so am without a car at the moment. At least when it cames home I and everyone else will know that it's straight and solid and not a botch job on the body. I've then just got to put it together mechanicly with a little help from friends.
charger
about an hour after you went home had a phone call and the body is all done going to get it this week yip peeeee
