I have a spare camshaft that I am told is an Edelbrock perfomer. I want to sell the cam (+sprongs/lifters) and need to verify that it is an edelbrock. I understand that Eddy dont make their own cams but they are made by a major company (Comp cams?). if i posted numbers stamped on the cam could anyone verify it for me?
Miles i have fitted an eddy performer cam kit in my 440 with matching inlet manifold and it made a BIG difference in power and when it comes in.i can spin the back wheels any time i want now.its a good cam for the street and i can recomend using it,so if it is the performer kit you should not have a problem selling it.
Yes mate,i was lucky in that it came with the 360 motor i bought. i'm sticking with the comp cams grind which provides more lift and better duration (as I recall) and if Dave is still reading, I would go for the Hughes 1928AL grind that you recommended but it all started to add up too much!
Cheers steve,
i suspect its a 'performer plus' rather than an 'RPM' model as the latter tend to be used in higher state of tune motors than the verystandard 360 the cam came out of.
PS whats new with the cuda these days or has the 300 taken right over?
