Nice car but to jump from high 12's to high 11's is quite a feat of tuning, what other changes have you made.
When i was at york, i thought how nasty it sounded when you drove through the pits.

Hey Mick , maybe you can tell 66 which stroker you got & 66 might tell you how he got from 12s to 11s.

I have it on good authority that Gerry's secret is down to limiting daily calories to 2x bowls of bran flakes a day. On race days he's down to just 1 litre of water and nothing else.

It`s quite simple, after the engine rebuild I never had a chance to use the car fully( fuel pump pushrod failure first then a pesk missfire) then when at york, once I had been knocked out of the running (did`nt take long :P ) I check a plug & found it to be very lean,so started to up the jets, primaries first, then when I dropped the secondaries bowl off  I found a missing vacuum blanking plug(massive air leak! ) so one was bodged up,and the result was a very strong 11.88 @ 113.8 so the 11`s were in there all along, as for the rebuild spec if you really want to be bored I`ll tell you ,although the heads are modified 906`s and the fuel pump is a carter 120 gph MECHANICAL...................and there really is nothing spicy in there

Is this the cam?

http://www.compcams.com/Cam_Specs/CamDe ... d=703&sb=2

If so, it looks like an old Mopar Performance type of grind with a lot of overlap. What's it like on the street?

Works well Gerry, if i could stop the persistent problems with my car, i might be able to tune it.

If a stroker was as slow as my car, i wouldn't dare bring it out the garage.
