V.COOL collectors Bits...more stuff added

Post by AllKiller »

From Good mate Stuart Cole who used to run the Aussie Chargers Club UK
Get yer Wedge out, make an offer :D 8-)

Morning Steve,
Have attatched some pics of the Charger stuff that I have kicking about , sorry 'bout the flash effect, but you get the idea. Poster is about 18 x 30 & is crying out to be framed, never been hung. Glasses are 1/2 pint and commemerate 21 years of the Charger 1971 to 1992 & were commissioned by the Victoria club. Advert is two page from Jan '72 for R/T, could be joined & framed or laminated. Have 2 copies of this.

Also have videos of Bathurst from about 1962 to mid '90s if it floats anyones boat. May have some sales brochures some where as well.

Also 1x mint sticker 4.5" round, never used..that i have had for years still has the backing and will stick :thumbright:

My dad drove big Humbers virtually all his life, he had one of the first Imperials back in the fifties and his last car was a 1968 Humber Imperial and I remember he came home from the dealers (it may have been Warwick Wright actually) with a Valiant brochure.

He was almost in shock when he announced to us all "they're not making any more big Humbers...and look what they want to sell me...it hasn't even got any walnut in it, but what an engine!"

He never bought a Valiant, he kept his two Humbers, the Hawk and Imperial until the day he died.
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.
