The Starter Motor on my 72 Dart has given up the ghost. I'm kinda thinking about buying a McLeod but is it worth paying double or is it just a name??

Mopar mini starter! Can be had on ebay for around $100 or less, don't pay any extra for a name, they are all made by Denso!

Mini starter, WITHOUT A DOUBT, solved all my starter probs.
If you dont trust ebay, try Hauser Racing or other UK dealers. 8)

I bought mine from this same ad and it arrived pronto and well packaged. No Problamo, Man! (And he's dropped his prices by a fiver)

Yes but these ones he sells are a little longer/heavier than the ones Mancini and Hauser sell.

I'm still getting around to fitting the mini starter I picked up on e-bay, but the guy did a great service and got it here in about four days. Shipping was something like $45.

Info on this thread;
http://www.mopartalk.co.uk/mopartalk/vi ... ni+starter
These two photos show the slight difference. Both are compared to a stock starter motor.
