Here's a picture of a dodge pickup I bought yesterday.
It's a southern states truck so although it looks rough there is no rot, the only downer is it's got a chevy V8 and a turbo 350 trans, why do people do that i wonder... but it is running and used on the road.

I think it would look great as is but with a mopar motor, Big Block would be nice but i can't see one fitting and a 727, I have all the good stuff to build a really good 727 on it's way from the states.
It was either this or a 57 belv which i think is beautiful, but the belv reached a bit to much
The paint would be a problem here the truck is brown not rust but it looks so thin that rust wouldn't be long here

Sadly he's had to replace the bottom 6 inches as it was a flintstone mobile but he likes the patina and has just put loads of wax over the top. The roof looks much like your pickup, all sunburnt
