I know there has probably been a million threads about kickdowns.
I would just like some decent pictures of the kickdown set up at the transmission end of the system. I have installed my new bracket from Lokar and fitted my cables accordingly but I just want to check that my set up is correct at the other end.
Do I need a kickdown lever like this?: http://www.transmissioncenter.net/MoparLever.jpg or is that just for Hemis?
I'm just checking all my bits are there and right.
Cheers.

That is a lever that is inside the transmission and operates the kickdown band. So forget about that unless you are rebuilding your transmission.
All you need is the bits to push the lever that is above the gear selector lever on the trans body. This little lever has to go almost all the way back when your carb is fully open and it needs to come forward when your carb is closed.
I am sure you get instructions with these bits you buy Rich.

Although i use the lockar kickdown cable i prefer the original set up , it seems the adjustments on these cables don't allow enough travel , with the kickdown lever almost all the way back @ full throttle the lever won't go fully forward with the peddle @ rest , i had to weld a piece on the throttle shaft till i got the correct travel adjusting the cable to work in an 'arc' effect , seems a few others have this trouble to , also makes for a stiffer throttle peddle.
