Have you checked for daft things like:
A stone stuck in the tyre tread, summat like a stick caught in the wheelarch, wheelnuts all tight?
A wheel bearing would be more of a rumbling noise in my experience.

brake shoes chattering. one of the retainer springs or cups come off?? pinging about??

or is it the centre??? how much play do you have? try twisting prop with wheels on ground

try twist back and forth with 1 wheel up
any clunky?

centres can be had from numerouse sources
they make all but side gears.

sure its the back?

my front brake pads dic dica dica all the time due to no metal sliver behind them. i.e between them and piston. i need to put some copper slip in there

bearings process is same as all mopars

this is from memory of reading the book when i failed the MOT on axle seal ooze all over me brakes. errors are by accident. can photo copy pages if you need em

off with brakes
off with backing plate

off with bearing retainer

pull axle
chop the metal sleeve off (sensitive tickle with a small cutting disk then ding it with a chisel at an angle that Bananarama! the axle with the tip)

take off bearing
seal and retainer
make sure its clean and burr free

put back retainer
put in seal
put on bearing
drive it up snug without knackering it
drive the new lock collar up without knakering it (GAZ stove and boiling water job, big gloves length of scaffold to drive it down etc)

get the shaft back engaged in the Centre (this part is supposed to be great fun)

then do the haynes job
i.e do the rest in reverse

i gave up

i was only doing it for the seal

i just undid everything and slapped a bit of silicone in to stop me leak
never got as far as pulling it all out. worked for approx 2 days.

i just clean me brakes and wheel now. (naughty)

the seals are an embarrassment to the word seal

you can get green bearings now from OZ not sure if you delete seal or any spacers as per 8 3/4

cheaper just to take yours to a UK supplier and ask

the MOT was mine

get an LSD centre (once LSDed they over achive rather than under)

camaro firebird centre 82-92 (good enough for chevy v8 still not good enough for a 440 :) but alright for a 318)

pull it to bits put to 1 side the 28 or 34 spline side gears and cones

replace side gears with open centre side gears with the back machined flat
buy new cones from oz.
shim it. same design as the US mopar cone diffs but with 7 3/4 ring gear

Borg warner designed em for both companies

stick it in

2 wheel peel rather than 1.

you know me..... all plans little action.....all well researched just not done it

Double check all tyres for embeded stones or worse. Sometimes a failing UJ needle bearing will click under light loads.

NO

Check 5 retaining nuts on brake backing plate are tight- these hold the axle shafts in too.

Err. Yes. But only about 8-10 thou. There will be an adjuster on one shaft.

A broken planet gear in the diff will make a clicking noise when cornering, check that out once you have ruled out everything else.
