Circlip retaing Torsion bars

Post by witorque »

Can anyone advise the correct internal Circlip size that retains the torsion bars in the crossmember under the front seats.
They are both missing on my Challenger....

-I've dug a bit deeper and found that a conventional internal circlip isn't used here. The originals appear to have lugs tuned back at 90 degrees that can be quick released with conventional pliers, rather than internal circlip pliers. Conventional internal circlips could still be used, but it would be nice to fit the original type. Year One don't list these..
Does anyone know where they can be sourced?

I don't know if these are the same size bars / circlips as A body?

If they are, I have a spare in the garage I can photo and measure for you.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Matt has a set of circlips advertised on Ebay if you're not sorted yet.
