Source in UK for actual Grade 8 bolts or equivalent?
I'm really surprised that I'm finding it difficult to find G8 UNC/UNF bolts over here (online preferably)!!
I never realised this was actually a US (SAE) spec, over here we use BS Grade S, etc for UN bolts, but Grade S is only equivalent to SAE G5. I needs some pukka G8 for my suspension.
So - anywhere to get these, or an equivalent spec (UN threads remenber). I don't know the BS equivalent -I think it's Grade T, but don't know - and I haven't found any of them either.
I've found aircraft spec A102, AN bolts etc but nothing to confirm a G8 equivalent (I believe AN are also ~G5).
If I lived in the US every ACE hardware has actual Grade 8, why is everything so difficult over here!!
(BTW - "High Tensile" usually turns out ot be Grade S over here)

again, wurth do them, but it will be boxes of sadly. this is where we get this kind of stuff from
However, for individual bolts, give Trident Racing Supplies in Silverstone a call. They keep all this kind of tackle. You can buy one bolt if you like. Far as i know they do mail order too. Dont think there is much on their website though. Its where i go when i get caught out and need something quick!
Dont get me started why everything is so difficult here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats a whole seperate debate on its own.

Thanks Mark, but after looking I did not see any UN Grade 8 bolts at the first site? Did I miss them?
Second site the link did not work at the moment (though shows up in search engines) so I'll try that again later.....

Any John Deere agricultural main dealer will have them in this country, most of there hardware is actualy 10.9 or equivalent even in imperial, so even better. just hope the stores guy is a good un and will look it up in the size and diamiter cross- refernce books they will have.
works every time for me

Or you could try a Finning (CAT) dealer. That's where I went to get some specific bolts for my brake calliper brackets! It took a while for them to find what I wanted in the stores, but they came up with the exact grade, size and length that I needed.
