Able Motorcycle Training.

Post by Gringo »

I run a motorcycle training business. Any members wanting to do a full bike test will get a 10% discount on any full courses. I can sort local accomodation, and I arrange everything else except the Theory Test. To arrange a Motorcycle Theory Test you need to ring 03002001122. If anyone is interested, we are based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and do the tests in Bristol. Various course prices depending on experience. Either call 01373 822399 and leave a message, or e-mail me on markable30@yahoo.co.uk, or visit www.ablemotorcycletraining.co.uk. I will also negotiate course prices for parts or repairs for my '68 Charger.

Quick update. The motorcycle test changed at the end of april 2009 to become a two part test. Module 1 is done on a large testing area at the test centre, and comprises of various manouevres. One of the manouevres has drawn quite a bit of criticism in the press. The 'hazard avoidance' exercise has presented no problems to us, as we have for years taught a technique to deal with just such a situation. Module 2 comprises purely road riding, as there are no longer any manouevres to do on the road. Consequently the 'pass rate' for module 2 has risen substantially.

We have kept our course prices the same, and will do until at least the end of 2009.

Well guys, price range depends on experience. We do 5 or 6 day courses for complete novices, down to 3 or 4 day courses for experienced riders. So Direct Access (on our 500cc bikes) starts at £485 and goes up to £795. We are now splitting the courses, doing training up to the part 1 test, then training up to the part 2 the following week. 125cc courses (A2) range from £385 to £550 depending on experience. Remember that we'll do a good discount on all courses for MMA members. Thanks for enquiring. :thumbright:
