Well after the Cuda & me having non existent traction @ the Mopar Nats, decided to order a set of slicks, should be here in a couple of weeks & within plenty of time for the Hot Rod Drags ;)

Been thinking of changing my front struts for quite a while, finally bit the bullet yesterday & ordered some new ones. Fingers crossed, they will be ready in time for when I'm in the States at the end of Aug.

Wont be fitting the struts till the end of the year, as most likely will have to alter to the front bars to fit them, due to the new ones having a different KPI.

Well, the violent bouncing was caused by a bent rim

Don't know how it happened, but at least I know what was causing it

Really! Blimey!

Weren't those brand spangly new? :(

Like you say, at least you know what was causing it and it's an easy fix.

Glad to see we'll get to find out what it'll do with slicks. 8-)

Not much to report really, I got some new rear wheels when I was in the States a few weeks back, plus some new slicks. I had intended to try them out at the Hot Rod drags.... To cut a long story short, I manged to frazzle my BS3, apparently Water & Electrics are not good  managed to destroy the fuel drivers

My previous dealings with BigStuff have been some what vague to say the least, but this time they have been excellent. They answered my query within 30 mins of it being 9am US time & the same applies to all of my other questions.

They had the unit fixed & tested within the week & posted back to me, it landed Thursday, allowing for clearance, I should have it next tomorrow or Tues. Proof will be in the pudding, as they say when I try it out.

Was thinking of going to the Pod next week, but don't want to tempt fate...

Would never have guessed Mark, but glad you got to the bottom of it. Let me know if you go to the Pod, might try and get over to that.

Happy Bunny today, as my EFI Controller/Big Stuff 3 arrived this afternoon. Thought it was going to be delayed, as Customs wanted proof of postage, as was returned under warranty. Luckily enough I still had an electronic copy & Customs were OK & released the unit. Thought for a moment I was going to be charged import Duty & VAT a 2nd time

Unit back in the car & running like a top, probably imaginary, but seems better than before.

Another Oil change, as motor over fueled when the controller screwed up, kept on dumping in fuel. Fortunately, oil wasn't contaminated, but better safe than sorry.

Even gave the old girl a clean

Lets hope the weather holds out :thumbright:
