Excellent, I was trying to find out when and where it was on Telly.
Has to be one of the best races in the world.

good stuff, 11hrs thats gunna be one empty fridge, it an auz tradition to watch all the coverage correct ? from the minute you get up ?

just watched the touring car masters before the v8 supercars come on, wasn't expecting that, red 69 boss 302 front of the grid then 69 yellow one, almost a tear in my eye ! good to see the past masters piloting them- jim richards & john bowe, theres a javerlin coming out next year with them
+ loads of old school bathurst video before the start. love it

watched the start live last night and the replay today, more build up than F1 but good to watch highlights of previous races, ive never watched any of these v8 races before so i was only expecting them to be doing about 130mph, i think they reached speeds of nearly 300kmh, really enjoyed it plenty of action, crashes overtaking etc

cheers for posting roll on next year - might try and stay up and watch the whole race!!

Satrted watching from the beginning, at 9pm. Lots of intro and ads, but some great stuff to see. Racing Utes, and the classic race (Muscle Car Masters) was excellent, in car from an E55 Charger, 2 Chargers battling an XU1 Torana. I managed to stay up til 1.30am so saw 16 of the 161 laps. Plan is to watch the highlights during the week as I didnt have enough tape to tape the rest of the race. (Yes I still use VHS  ).
The race is repeated, as are the highlights a few times this week on Motors TV.
Here is the guide . http://www.motorstv.com/tv-guide?d=2009-10-13&h=4

Highlights will be first shown Tuesday night at 2100hrs, for 2 1/2 hrs, thats a more manageable size show than 8 hrs!

Anyone any idea if there will be highlights on 'normal' telly?? Not got this Sky stuff & too far out for cable. ;)

just finished watching the whole race has had to watch it stages when I was allowed the tele
as they say 'absoulute ripper of a race'
i'll not say what happens & spoil it untill you've all watches the reapeats, this race makes the britsh touring cars (which I still like) seem like a bit of a joke.
