Right hand drive 67 Barracuda

Post by Anonymous »

I have recently acquired a 67 barracuda with a 318 needing resto. The car is a factory right hand drive and I was wandering if anyone could give me any info on what country it was made for! I am also looking to ship 2 rear quarters from the states for it and was wandering where is best to get them from or is there a place over here that sells them. As I am only 18 I am new to the mopar world and am also looking for ideas on the look of the final car. It will be raced at the pod when it is done so chassis mods, and performance ideas would be helpfull.
Cheers,

Is this Joe's old car?

Have a good read of the threads on this board. There is a lot of good information here already.

Oh and welcome to the club.

 Hello and welcome, there's loads of great info tucked away here. Unfortunately there's no quick and easy way to import big stuff like quarter panels; surface shipping is slow but surprisingly cheap these days :)

It was made for the U.K. market and sold through a dealer called Warwick Wright.

They were built as rhd cars in the States they are not converted afterwards. An interesting note is that the RHD cars were built to Formula S spec even though they had the smaller engine this was done to attempt to make them drive in a more European way means we got heavy duty suspension and brakes and a limited slip diff !

Welcome to the club by the way!
