Rear Indicators for '69 Road Runner -Suggestions

Post by GranSport »

Hi guys,
Any ideas on how to add orange indicators to rear of my Road Runner (if it ever gets back on the road)?
On my Challenger I bolted reversing lights to the bumper with orange bulbs. Any alternative/better ways?

Thx

You could convert the reversing light to indicators...

From memory, I think theyre just within legal limits for how close together / far in from the side they can be.

I was daydreaming about making some pop-down indicators for my fury. Ya know, like popup headlamps. They would appear under the rear bumper then go back up when you switch the indicators / hazzards off.

But would they be too low?

Other than that I was looking (yesterday in fact) for anyone that sells really really thin LED indicators, like only or 8mm tall that wouldnt really be noticeable at the bottom of the bumper when not in use . Couldn't find any.

Have you noticed that some TVRs only have indicators in the corners of the rear window?

Say that when your car gets written off! & then the insurance company won't pay out because of your lack of indicators :thumbright: Everyone drives 5' off of your bumper & needs as much warning as possible.
