Yup :thumbright: ....Done installing the bumpers, that is....

Latil, that type of bug take more than polishing to get rid of :D

Gav did arsley straighten your bumpers for you and how much was the cost now-days pm if you dont want to say.

A picture paints a thousand words.....this is the before pic of the only real damage. A fairly minor crease/gouge but across the 'feature' line . If I did not know where it had been I wouldn't be able to tell (actually I had difficulty finding where it had been even knowing that!). I assume they needed to weld it a bit as well as hammering it.

What they told me on the phone was 'small' US bumpers from £150+Vat each + overiders (£35 each)...larger could be a lot more. I figured mine should qualify as relatively small by US standards and I wasn't disappointed. I had a couple of other very minor bits as well. Given that chroming is expensive by nature (labour) I think this compares very favourably with other source from what I gleaned (even though it's actually one of the larger single-item expenditures I've made on this car!!!)
