"A" body off-set rear spring hangers - same patter

Post by Pete »

Hi there.
Doing a bit of research.

Does anyone know if the bolt pattern of an "A" body rear spring hanger is the same as an "E" body or "B" Body car?

I have check my junk spares and know that a "B"£ body is a different bolt pattern to an "E" body.

Any ideas?
Cheers

I have offset A-body front hangers on my Chally. They bolt up the same but did need some mods for something. I can't remember now. It was something simple like welding up and re-drilling the hole for the spring eye. :?

Cool, so the 4 bolts that go into the body are the same on the "A" body hangers as the "E" body one. Can you recall how long they were - standard length or longer to work with Super-stock springs?..Thanks Dave :thumbright:

Not sure what you mean Pete?
A-body hangers are not longer. Super stock springs are the same length as normal A-body. :?

..sadly that is what I thought.

I need Hangers in a "B" body pattern with the 4 bolts, but with an off-set, but standard 68 - 70 "B" body length, not Super-stock length.

I don't think they exist, so will have to get some fabricated.....
