Engine build well underway

Kev, oil slinger arrived. Rebuild about to continue. Cheers, i'll sort a replacement, your a chap!
Guy, Alex, ive assembled the cam with cam lube (red stuff from WASP) and will be adding a lot more before break in. Is there a particular product/type you guys swear by?
The lube i used is pretty heavy duty. It was one of the reasons i had a tight crank
, used too much lube. Ultimately, i had the mains cap machined true and used a graphite substance plus oil which resulted in a smoothly turning bottom assembly
ps cam is not brand new. It has about 1,000 miles wear on it and lifters

NOTE.
Never use assembly lube on the crank bearings. Just nice clean oil.
Also NEVER use it on the lifter bores. You want the lifters to spin freely and quickly as you are breaking the cam in. Always check that the lifters rotate freely in their bores during assembly and just use clean oil in the bores. A lifter that fails to rotate will wipe the cam lobe.
DO use assembly lube on the cam lobes and the lifter bottoms.
