Have used the amber laquer for bulbs before but on faded glass lens. Might well work but check the laquer won't dissolve your plastic ones.

What about the kids glass painting kits? they are water based acrylic and transparent.

tried those boy racer tinting kits they sell in boy racer type shops. I believe the brand is "Richbrook". I've seen the black, blue, green, etc. but they do red, orange and yellow IIRC too. That should work on plastic as its designed for modern rear light clusters.

Just use orange bulbs and not worry about lenses?
