january 2010,

have decided to build car as a modified restoration , pickedup a 68 440 motor from woolhouse`s yard been sat in back of a pickup for over 20yrs,

can belive it if anyone has ever been up there, its not changed much since the 70`s apart from the cars have rusted away to nothing,

will be running it with twin turbos hopefully, suspension independent, with coilovers all round , usuing a btr hydratrac diff, aluminium uprights front and rear, with chrysler hubs

Now if anyone thinks their car is a lost cause, think again!

It makes Roger's '70 Road Runner look like a walk in the park by comparison, all credit to you sir, that is going to be one very special E body. :thumbright:
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

Completely agree, this is the inspiration needed in my garage.

Love that firewall panel, what a terrific way to do it properly. 8-)

Outstanding :thumbright: gets better and better. BTW, AMD panels are generally reckoned to be excellent, Goodmark get very mixed reviews so glad yours were good.

Your thread really reminds me of this one which I think you'd find interesting in your spare (HA!) time http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/sho ... t=all&vc=1
A similar level of rust and fabrication skills, bringing back from the dead something that many would have written off as too far gone :thumbright:
Look at some of the remedial action he needed to take with his Goodmark panels!

Watch out for the filler cap area not being deep enough on the replacement quarter panel. The body line at the far end of the panels can be wrong too. Always best if you can find a car with original panels to check against if possible.
