So you get a 150hp jet for an NOS Cheater System. Is this rated before you back off your timing? One can lose at least 100hp through backing the timing off, so is it a "real" 50hp gain? Thoughts please....

Probably a "theoretical" 150, the way such places compete with each other i bet they adjust their sums for the biggest number to appear to the punter

I would imagine they arrive at that figure by running a chevy up the strip as a baseline and then again with the gas on and comparing the 2 times and calculating how much horsepower increase would be needed to run the quicker time, round that up and advertise that that's the horsepower increase that kit will give you. So, highly inaccurate if you ask me...
