Shudder when pulling away

Hi Guys

my 75 Coronet (auto), seems to shudder when pulling away.

Just had a replacement trans put in (which is superb - thanks to cannonball & kiwi).

Trying to think what it could be....

Had a similar problem a while back with a capri, and at first I thought it was a dragging clutch, but it turned out to be a prop shaft centre bearing.

Is this also likely to cause this problem with my Coronet?

take it back to kiwi and get him check it for you, till its checked try not to let it shudder ie drive away slowly, could be prop or box mnt or if the pressure rod to the box is not working correct could be the gearbox shuddering

I'll chat to Kiwi then.

It only happened a couple of times (on a trip of 115 miles), but it did resemble the sort of vibe from a prop ctr bearing issue on my Capri.

You know what will happen, I'll take it to Kiwi and it'll behave itself
