anti blowout kit for holley

has anybody used one of these kits from holley? I bought one recently , but now I`m wondering wether to fit it! It looks like it might hamper/alter performance of the carb (a check ball & spring),am I worrying about nothing??

Are we talking about the power valve saver thingy? If so I believe they're ok to use (?)

yes that`s the one! all it is ,is a ball/spring & you get a drill with a depth stop,drill out & fit

If I remember right, they were recommended in a general guide to rebuilding/restoring musclecars I have somewhere.
