Northumberland meeting

Post by Rebel »

Anyone fancy a gathering in Northumberland?

huge field for camping, possible show n shine, stunt show and possible cruise.

The best news is it'll all be free :D

How good it'll be depends on you and your cars. The more people that turn up with cars the better, as always.
All you'll need is petrol and food. Charcoal for BBQ will even be provided free. trying to get it all arranged before end of season this year!

So thats, free camping, free stunt show, free charcoal for BBQ and it's a show up here where we need them. If it works it could be an annual event.

Just need to numbers of people interested so I can start organising

alright, alright already :D

going for end of this month, weekend of 24th until 26th. It's just gonna be a quiet end of season weekend, no aggro worrying about whether the motor or box will hold out for another run :) and no polishing for the show n shine. Just a chance to relax and have a few drinks with mates while laughing at everything that went wrong, or brag about what went right, throughout the season :D

So far it's a big field with the possibility of a free stunt show, free camping, maybe some live music and a cruise to Holy Island (for those who fancy it). You can camp from the Thursday evening onwards and there might be free charcoal for the BBQ's. all are welcome, please let me know for numbers etc (thanks to those who have shown interest so far).

The only proviso is, that as it's a private field, the owner has asked us to please don't cause any damage to it. This hopefully could be a yearly end of season event and I'd like to keep the owner of the field sweet.

Apologies for the time taken to get back to you all, but we've had an awful year so far. My father in law passed away suddenly in mid July meaning we couldn't make the Nats and financial worries have kept us away from most shows and cruise's.

We're hoping to bounce back with this weekender and we've been lucky enough to have met up with the field owner at my father in laws funeral, so maybe, something good can come of the whole thing.

What better way is there to cheer up than having a laugh with family, friends and the sweet sound of V8's, :)

I'm not up for a weekend camping. Not when I am just an hours drive from home. Sitting in a field for days bang in the middle of autumn is not my idea of fun.

Not interested in a stunt show either. I don't have kids.

It would be a nice day out and that's all.
