Easisest way to spot a 59 Eldo is that 'Eldorado' is spelled out befhind the wheel arch on the front fenders and from a distance, they have a huge chrome aplique that runs the length of the beltline from the bottom of the widscreen to the reverse light pod and then back along the sill. Thin and the front, thick at the back. Like thus: (see pic)
I'm pretty sure that the Eldo 'V's were gold plated. They got bucket seats and the tri-power setup.
I used to know a guy who had a 59 Eldo Seville. Bought back in the 80's when yank tin was worth four fifths of f'all. He let the poor thing rot to death. Even Eldo's are rare. You just dont see them whereas standard 59's are like 57'Chevys. Repmobiles. Ask any knobber to name a 50's Amrican car and it will be either of the aforementioned. A bit like asking any old knobber to name a muscle car and they will almost certainly say Mustang, because thats all they know. There is a red 59 Eldo Biarritz doing the circuits, normally towing a red 50's speed boat.
