If you won the lottery...........

Post by Jem »

I'm sure I'm going to get rebuked about how this kind of thread has been done to death before but not that I can remember and this time I want to play. So, save yer negative comments and humour me, the other newer members and perhaps the anonomous watchers that would like to partake?

As Duncan has observed it's very quiet on here to say the least. So, if won the lottery and you could purchase any car STILL EXISTING what would it be?

Here's mine.

I have no love of anyone car to be honest, and I know that whatever car I ever own I will get bored of within a year. So I'd just buy a car and sell it then the next on my list.

I quite fancy having a Hemi ' E Body, a 440-6 E Body and a 340 E Body and driving them like I stole them to see personally which is the best, and most fun. To be able to do that and not worry if they get damaged would be amazing.

I also would like a new toy too, Ferrari's are for Fag's and to be honest most Italian Super Cars are in my opinion. Id like to own something like Dunc's new beast to be honest, I too wanna be a Porn Star! :D

Ok, let me refine my original post.

If you won the lottery, STICK UP A PICTURE of the ONE CAR, still in existence that you'd like to own.

Well , not what you're asking for Jem , but if i did'nt have to work for a living & money no object i would build one helluva fast diesel V8 turbo on the bottle & stick it in a 4 ton truck , would keep keepin on till i hit the 8s with it , anythings possible , just soooo much easier with a diesel & N2O.

Sorry i got no pictures , will get some up on the site when i build that truck. :D

I've always thought I'd have a Miura if money was no object.... but if that was the case I'd have to have more than one car... a road car, a race car etc etc

So if youre having the Lee Smith car, Jem, I'll have the Arlen Vanke Barracuda

Image

and a 65 S/S Plymouth - black/red, hemi, post, for the shopping

and that Miura, but in green 8-)

Ok, it would have to be a BIG lottery win to afford this, and run it but this for me is probably the besst looking, most capable piece of kit ever. Windows down, Eric B & Rakim on the stereo (probably Eric B for president or Beat the Technique). I love it. If I couldnt get one (only 25 made, all left hookers except for one made for Sultan of Brunei) it would be a Zonda F.

I am suprised at the 'dream cars' of some on here. Are you really 'thinking outside the box'? What the hell would you want a mopar of ANY kind for, unless its a particularly notable historic racer? Then, you are buying it for its provenance, not its 'car-ness'. Rob picked the Miura (SVJ no doubt) Dunc went for a Veyron, me, a GT1 homologation special, and Adam a bloody Diseasle truck FFS! Broaden your minds people. Jem said ANYTHING :D

I have a list as long as your arm, but I've always loved the look of DB4 GT Zagato and a Veyron Supersport just so I could out run Dunc, but I'll have to get rid of the Orange bits and go all Black, also a 66 GT350-H too many mopars to mention :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:
