largest rear tyres b body 68 roadrunner

will i get away with 295x50x15 bf goodrich rear tyre the rear arch inner lips have been shaved back already.i have 10x15 wheel fitted with 4 inch back space,will probably fit cragar keystone klassics 10x15s ia anyone running same size tyres.

I don't think you have enough backspace. I have 10 x 15 wheels with 5 1/5 inch backspace and 275/60R15 tyres just fit.

with 5 1/2 back space how close is the trye to the leaf spring, what size fronts are you running are they cragar 5 spokes. nice car mick

With 5 1/2 inch backspace, a 10 inch wheel is centred in the arch with about an inch clearance either side. If your springs are a bit saggy it gets closer as the tyre moves up and could rub going round corners. Wheels are Wheel Vintiques steels, the Cragars are long gone. Fronts are 7 x 15 with 4 inch backspace and 235/60R15 tyres.

thanks mick as always simple is better. all the roadrunners i really like tend to have painted rims with or without hub caps. your so close to an 11s quarter with a very nice car.my car is taking shape in the garage section just cant decide on the wheels.
