None of my photos did it justice, looks even better in the flesh.
Not my favourite colour they came in though.
But you would not dare change that on an original GT!
Nick has a great piece of Aussie motoring history there.

Thought I recognised the presenter that drove Nick's XB.
He is "Kenny"!
If you have not seen the film do yourself a favour and have a good laugh.

Am not too trusting of getting a DVD any time soon. Thought we may be lost on some list for when the DVD becomes a official release.

Have my brother queued up to send a copy on DVD to me.
Will let you know when it arrives.

Well! About 1/3 way through the prog (1hr 40mins long, but if you take the ads out, more like 1hr!) after driving around rainy England in an Allegro, Ital wagon and a TR7 they pulled up on the airfield in the 3 Oz cars, and mighty splendid they looked! Clarkson et al slagged them as being American, on to the next segment......The Maloo(?) LS1(?) Ute against an old shabby Tranny on a 1km drag race. (Tradey race) The Tranny blew the Maloo into the weeds but was then revealed to have the underpinnings of an XJ220........More silly shenanigans followed with the Nigels cheating their way to glory against the Bruces.....Oh, well, it's alright for you lot, they announced a new series of Oz TopGear....Poo Pants! :thumbright:

Well the HD version on my hard drive is 4590mb so that's out but if you get a copy of the full show plus ads you'll see a great news clip about the proposed girly bikini race at a Gold Coast horse track, me Oz mates weren't phased, apparently Olympic chicks hardly wear anything, so what's the difference? Err, starting in a horse stall for one!! :D

Sadly I'll miss that add.
When my brother sends the recording over it is more likely to have an advert for the AFL grand final part 2 as it will be from Vic.

Am I missing something? Was the Aussie Muscle only shown for a few mins and just them pulling up or do they race them too?

If you had owned yours for the last 20 years, would you let 'em race yours?

Don't answer that.

Yeh, I see where your coming from. I just thought there would be more coverage on them, maybe some history etc. Not just them pulling up and not even naming them.

Get your point. Was just happy they did what they said they would do and did not drive 'em like they stole 'em.
You have to remember that it is for an Aussie audience who know exactly what they are and their history.

Think the researchers early thoughts were to drive them around the UK.
