to far for me, but good prep for the week after.
Motor Tv better show it all, ive be waiting with my 24 cans of fosters
whos gunna win this year as no longer allowed to run the 2 no1 drivers together anymore ?
it will be all down to how good the no2 drivers are cos lownes, wincup, tander, winterbottom or cortney are all more than capable of winning

:arrrmeharties: sorry matt

Should be a great watch, especially as I can watch having driven round Bathurst this year in a Falcon!
Last year was great on TV, long night though. Thank goodness for V+,
my VHS wasnt long enough last year.

Hi Matt.

I have not been to the Ace Cafe yet and have been looking forward to a visit. Had a dead gearbox last Aussie day so was never going to go. :-(

What to drive?
The customised HQ Monaro if the weather has been dry and I can get it down the mud track from the shed without getting bogged, failing that it'll be the daily, the VG.

What time do you suggest to get there for brekkie and a parking spot? (if parking is a problem).

Cheers
Steve

Anyone is welcome, the man on the gate might get you to park outside if the car park is full and you're not in an Aussie car, but thats no great shakes.
It would be good to see you. Brekkie always good at the Ace.

Hope to see you this Saturday

No Chargers then?
I couldnt get out of going to work, so had to dip out. I had even got my jump leads ready to take the Charger.
Hopefully I can make Australia Day in January.

The blue Holden FB is now running a Torana front suspension set up and a Rover 3.9 V8.

Had a quick chat with the owner. A good Bloke.
I think it may have a HR front end under it.... I believe they are the common conversion, maybe it is a mix of components from both HR and Tory??? - I would not know.
The conversion kit was from Rod Hatfield.

Matt.
Shame I did not get to meet you and check out your Charger!
Was looking forward to it.
No Aussie Mopars at all.
You may want to hit your commodore with an LS1, LS2 or LS3 conversion from Rod Hatfield
Think I'll take the VG if I make it to the Aussie Day event.
