How many teeth on a 904 ring gear?

Post by Blue »

Can't find any details in any of my books and googleing it ain't helping either.
I have a 904 'verter here with 122 teeth, I need to positively ID it as being the American version rather than the Aussie flavour.

Was bored & started searching for 904 Ring gear teeth.

Lists a 122T Ring gear, see item 15 in link below, so you should be in luck

Found this article, no use to you Blue or Dunc, maybe of use to some of the others on here.

Hi Blue and Duncan,

I can confirm the US 904 Verter is indeed 122T.
Took a verter outta a virgin S/B-904 70-Dart with standard type US starter!

Whats the size of the 360-Verter you have Duncan?
Biggun as in truck/Van styley, or smallun as in Smallblock?

Thanx and whats the price please? :thumbright:
