Went two years ago , really enjoyed it so much there, arrive early.

One issue I believe there was a car park scam. They wanted £15- on exit, cash only and pouring with rain. When we arrived meters had covers on.We had spent all our cash ,so they waved us on our way.

Never seen that car park scam Al

Mind you, a couple of years ago, we bought our car park ticket when we got there (you can get it then, or on the way back to your car after the show), and cos we didnt leave till kicking out time, the ticket office was closed and there was no one manning the barrier at the exit, which was left open. So we needn't have bought a ticket at all

So since then, we dont bother getting the ticket till we're on the way out just in case the jobsworths have already clocked off for the day by the time we get there :thumbright:

I remember it being £7 a couple of years ago, but cos we had a pass last year, didnt take much notice of the cost :?

But that may have been for a show I went to for work :?

Either way, it's still a lorra lorra dosh

Cost me £7 to park me n the missus at the hospital for 10 minutes the other morning...

And whilst we are on the subject of "Its a bloody disgrace" - get this - Drove charger to the NEC yesterday. Got train back.

7.2litre muscle car - cost of journey - £35-£40
Train home - £36.50

How can a 1 person public transport (which was a. Late and b.Full ) cost the same as driving a 7litre car ??? Its a national disgrace - I hate public transport at the best of times, but the cost just makes it unjustifiable to use at all. Ridiculous.
"Cum homine de cane debeo congredi." Woof.

Current Charger status - "Working and awesome" \:D/
