hi brutus totally worth it, when you sell a nice car you go through the sanity bit with everyone saying why did you sell such a nice car, you'll never replace it. well i think this a worthy replacement i never thought i'd own a tri-chevy(sorry for the bad language guys) and a roadrunner was always beyond my wildest dreams. lots of things still to do but so pleased that when i bought it everthing was as stated by Richard i.ve got a very nice car for the right amount of money.

Been watching this thread with interest since it started. Nice to see someone doing most of the work themselves and getting the job done so quickly. Most of these resto threads last at least three years and cost the owner a fortune. Well done Nick.

headman headers into headman silencer boxes into 2.1/2 inch stainless steel pipes kicked out in front of the rear wheels, nice and easy to take off when i go racing. i think it will be a while before i get feed up with the sound of a big block mopar. not sure if i need across over will see how it sounds a runs without one.

Thanks Mick. I've been in the trade all my life apart from resprays the only mechanical work I ever paid for is a cambelt change on the wife alfa £450 it nearly broke my heart. I've owned a few yank cars and its nice to say you did the whole restoration when asked. this is the fourth unfinished American car i have put back on the road if your interested this is my old car domain site all my ex cars are on here including a 73 Challenger i owned a few years ago 26 god im getting old.

Great work there dude!

Small point, the prop is on back to front, the weighted end goes next to the trans.

thanks baracuda it came in kit form and no propshaft,the loop had been fitted . i tried it round the other way but it didnt fit.i will have to move the propshaft loop and turn the propshaft around. thanks mate that explains why i couldn't use the billet uj caps. i spent an hour today centering the propshaft loop just hoping it will still be ok when i move it. if not the mig will be out again.

half the morning removing the propshaft hoop and refitting it round the propshaft and rebolting the prop if the hoop was 1/2 inch bigger the balance ring would go through it. on the right way now.
head linning has gone in which took the rest of the day but it looks great.
left to do........
all wiring to everthing. fit a horn, washers, seat belts battery needs fitting in the boot with isolator switch then i can road test. im off the weekend and the wife's away visitng my youngest son in london could be done!
