Back on 'snowing' & off smut, been to stirling in scotland today what a trip
8am till now, 14hrs & have seen some really pretty sights of northumberland/scotland under the most snow ive seen for yrs & some horrible sights like jack knifed trucks & various cars & vans on there roofs, drove 2 hgv's down, had to get one dug out with a loading shovel before we could start it up, snow must have been well over 2 ft deep where it was !!

Took me one and a half hour to do two miles last night and a frien from work lives near gatwick and she left work at five yesterday and was still not home at midnight last night. It is amazing how snow brings this country to a stand still. JohnR I hope this is good for bussiness at least someone shoud benefit out of this.

That's it then, more than 6 inches and it's all on shutdown round here. Gatwick shut, roads not gritted (they had all night to sort it) no buses, hardly any cars on the road. Funny,Ed's just driven 2 miles to work past all the slipping, sliding and stuck cars in his lowered MK1 Fiesta :D :D

barbecue before it gets cold.

Minus 10 Degrees. Southerners cease to exist. Geordies throw on a
lightweight jacket.

Minus 80 Degrees. Polar bears wonder if it's worth it. Geordie Boy scouts
start wearing long trousers.
